Minneapolis Firefighters Battle Early-Morning Blaze
We have photos from this morning’s house fire in south Minneapolis.
Firefighters were called to 4326 10th Ave. South about 5 a.m. They arrived to find the home fully involved.
Crews protected the exposures and poured water on the remains of the structure, which collapsed.

St. Paul Crews Called to Basement Fire
Firefighters battled a basement fire at a home in St. Paul’s West Seventh neighborhood late Sunday morning.
Crews were called for smoke from a dwelling at 845 Tuscarora Ave. about 10:30 a.m.
Engine 10 arrived and reported smoke from the rear of the 2 1/2-story dwelling. They deployed the initial attack hoseline and Engine 5 stretched the backup hoseline.
Crews found a contents fire in the basement and made a quick knockdown.
No injuries were reported.

Minneapolis Home Consumed by Blaze
Crews arrived to find a South Minneapolis home fully involved early Sunday morning.
The roof and walls of the home caved in, in the 4300 block of Elliot Avenue South, according to KSTP-TV.
The call was received about 5:30 a.m. and firefighters worked to protect the exposures.

Firefighters contained a fully involved three car garage before it spread late Saturday in Richfield.
Fire crews were called to the 7100 block of Park Avenue South around 9:30 p.m.
Richfield Engine 1 arrived to find the garage fully involved. Crews held the fire from spreading to the attached dwelling.
The fire reached two alarms before being brought under control.

These photos were submitted to Twin Cities Fire Wire from Thursday’s fire at Mystic Lake Casino.
The fire started when construction crews were working on a remodeling project about 9:30 a.m. The fire spread along the roof and crews worked feverishly to open up areas of the roof to check for fire extension.
The casino was evacuated and no injuries were were reported.
