April 3 – A man was seriously injured after being struck by a train in St. Paul early Sunday morning.

St. Paul Fire Ladder 22, Squad 2 and Medic 22 were dispatched for a reported pedestrian struck on Como Avenue around 1 a.m. As units were enroute, they were advised that the incident was at Oxford Street and Jessamine Avenue.

According to the Star Tribune, “investigators are trying determine what happened and ‘piece together what led to him being there.'”

The ladder and medic crews treated and packaged the victim along the tracks. He was moved to Medic 22’s ambulance and was transported to Regions Hospital.
