Finding Your Department on the Fire Wire

One question that comes to us quite often is “Do you have anything from the XYZ fire department?”

It’s pretty easy to locate any coverage of a specific department using the categories on the right hand side of the page, just below the Twitter feed.  Scroll down that list to find your department or other categories, such as dwelling or garage fires, technical rescues or roadway incidents. If you click on any of those categories, you’ll find anything related to that topic.

For example, if you click on Maple Grove Fire’s name, you get the following.

Saint Paul Fire Foundation Invites You To A Bar-B-Que And Saints Baseball Game

The Saint Paul Fire Foundation would like to invite all Firefighters, Paramedics, EMTs and Police as well as their families and friends to attend the First Annual Saint Paul Fire Foundation Bar-B-Que and Saint Paul Saints Baseball game.

This event is on June 14th with dinner at 5:00pm and the game at 7:00pm

The Bar-B-Que will be held at the Saint Paul Fire Training Facility right next door on the East side of Midway Stadium.  There is free onsite parking on the fire department training grounds, while space is available.  Enjoy a catered meal and walk to the game.

Price of admission includes a Bar-B-Que meal by Divine Swine Catering and a ticket to the Saint Paul Saints game immediately following the meal.

Adults $30.00   /  Kids 5 – 12  $18.00  /  Under 5  $10.00

Funeral Arrangements Set For Cambridge Firefighter Chip Imker

We regret to advise you of the Line Of Duty Death of Cambridge (MN) Firefighter Chip Imker.

Firefighter Imker was a certified Firefighter I and II as well as a trained EMS first responder and served his country as a member of the Army National Guard.  Our most sincere condolences to all affected.

The Chip Imker Firefighter Memorial Fund has been established in his memory. Donations to the memorial fund can be sent to Minnco Credit Union, 235 1st Avenue West, Cambridge, Minnesota 55008. Checks should be made payable to Kristin Hill.

Cambridge Firefighter Chip Imker’s funeral will be held Saturday in the Cambridge-Isanti High School gym.  Visitation will be held at the school from 10-11 a.m., with the funeral to immediately follow.

Visitation also will be held Friday from 6-9 p.m. at the Hardy Center for the Performing Arts in Cambridge.
